Exploring musical chords necessitates acknowledging that there are numerous categories of music scales and chords. You might have heard of types of chords such as major, minor, augmented, and diminished. As well as the scale types like whole tone, pentatonic, scale modes, blues, polyphonic, as well as others.

Music Chord Traits

The major and minor scales are the starting or groundwork of music chord theory. This basic familiarity with scales permits you to move into learning the construction of the numerous aspects of close chord progression.

1st one will begin by identifying chord types as well as get knowledgeable about them. Next you go on to study the math of chords making use of the major scale as the foundation to produce the music chord types. With this Major Scale, you will employ four or three half steps which are major or minor third intervals to compare the variety of chord choices enabling you to learn to build and spell chords.

When you have learned these chords for your specific scale, you have created a diatonic harmonic structure. Big words, needless to say! Nevertheless, this is where the music framework all fits in place.

This strategy differs from the note by note methodology, given it permits you to get to see the whole set of chords necessary to give the framework of your music, incredibly quick. This will supply you with a big leap in advance of all others that study them a little at any given over many years of study.

Chords Which Are Investigated In The Beginners Series

Generally good chord theory classes will certainly principally study the Major and Harmonic Minor scales and the associated chords. The following Four chord forms discussed are major, minor, augmented, and diminished.

Now, exactly what is the distinction with these chords?

Music Chord Qualities for the Varied Chords

Let’s take a big picture snapshot of the chords. The subsequent information will provide you with a taste of chord personality; however, it’s not always easy to ascertain at the start the way they relate using a characterization. You’ll require another look at the variations using the mathematics of scales.

What Normally Makes a Chord ?

A chord can be described as mixture of Three or even more notes based on using intervals associated with a scale. Chords are typically based on the use of major and minor 3rd intervals.

Various other intervals might be used in a variety of situations where the chords are inverted (a process of rearranging the order of notes within a chord).

The Chord Definitions

Let us explore some basic traits of the chord types.

The Major Chord is usually a cheerful bright sound. It can be constructed by attaching a major 3rd then a minor 3rd interval onto a base note. Take a piece of written music and you will see the chord notes are each all using a line or all in spaces. The call out for major chords is to use simply the letter of the chord: “C”

The Minor Chord has a sorrowful sound. It’s created by adding a minor 3rd followed by a major 3rd from a origin note. Again this minor chord comes with notes all on a line or just spaces, but, the initial third interval is adjusted to a flat. The notation for minor chords is to use a small “m” or minus sign “-” with the chord name “Cm or C-”

The Diminished Chord is a tension sound. It’s always crafted by using two minor 3rd intervals to the core note. This chord is indicated with a degree icon ” ° “: C°; usually used with little d or dim: “Cdim” This chord’s notes will also be on lines and in spaces and the two supplied intervals are flat in comparison with the first major chord.

The Augmented Chord is an “airy” sound. It’s not necessarily used very often, but does have a position in pieces of music. It is always built when you get two major 3rd intervals applied to the main note. Augmented Chords are expressed by way of a plus symbol “+”

Chord Construction In Each Of The Keys

At the beginning it would appear that learning all of these chords is a tricky undertaking, but since they can be broken down into workable basic steps and classifications it becomes relatively easy to learn music chord theory.

In the Chords For Music Construction In Each Of The Keyslesson you will find the associations in numerical terms of insights on how these chords are comparable. After that’s established you are able to revisit any specific scale and make use of this expertise to produce every one of the chords associated with that scale.

There are a few approaches to understanding the chords, and the concern is with making it painless enough that you could study them and implement what you have acquired to a greater system. Discover more at music chord theory.

Make a Club Banger Beat With Sonic Producer

In this video, Justin walks you through the process of making a sick club banger beat. Wish I could say I’m cranking out beats like this too, but I need more practice!

What I liked about Sonic Producer

Sonic producer is very easy to use. I had no previous experience with mixing samples and making beats, but after watching a 10 minute tutorial video and messing around with the application myself, I had the process figured out. Not to say the beats I was making were actually good, but they were beats nonetheless! I need many more hours of practice before I’m making good beats! But, that shouldn’t be too hard, I’ve found beatmaking to be quite addictive!

You have a TON of sounds and instruments to choose from. There are hundreds and hundreds of different sounds and instruments available in the sonic producer beat-making application for you to pick from when you are making your beats. It would take me a very long time just to try them all out. I’ll admit, I was bit overwhelmed with the amount available, because I had no idea what any of them sounded like! Felt Like I needed to try each one out before I started making beats. I assume if someone who had some experience with making beats checked out the list of sounds, they would be much more comfortable with it because they’d recognize sounds and instruments.

The tutorial videos are very helpful. The videos show you exactly what you need to know to start making beats of your own if you’ve never had experience (Like me). But, if you are a more advanced user, there are some videos that I think would be cool for you too. Like, how to make beats on the Korg M3, resampling, recording audio into the program, rhythm, improv on the piano, and a bunch of others.

Money-back guarantee. I’m always much more comfortable purchasing a product (especially a digital product like Sonic Producer) when I see that it has a full money-back guarantee. Sonic Producer is sold via a digital product marketplace called Clickbank, and every single product that you can purchase through Clickbank has a 60-day full money-back guarantee. So, if you don’t end up getting your money’s worth out of Sonic Producer, all you have to do is contact Clickbank within 60 days of purchase and they’ll get your money-back within a few days. I’ve returned Clickbank products before, and the process is painless and you have your cash back in no more than 3 days after you request a refund.

What I Would Change About Sonic Producer

One thing that I wasn’t thrilled about with Sonic Producer had to do with the sound and instrument samples. There are soooo many available, which is a great thing. But, you don’t know what one sounds like until you actually select it and put it on your track. I’d like to see the ability to preview a sound as your browsing through the sound library, know what I mean? That way, you could browse, preview and listen to samples before actually choosing one. It’s not like it’s a huge deal they way it’s set up right now, it doesn’t take long to select a sound and/or switch it out for another one. But, I’m big on time efficiency, and having a sound preview ability would be more efficient.

As a beginner, I think it would be a cool idea to have some sort of guide as to what kind of samples sound good together, which ones don’t, some sort of guide. The tutorial videos are good for showing you how to use the application and some more advanced mixing practices, but I’d like to see a more basic overview of sound mixing, “sound mixing 101″. I know this suggestion would really only be helpful to complete newbs like me, but it’d be a nice added bonus if something like this was added to the Sonic Producer package.

Final Thoughts on Sonic Producer

Overall, I’d give sonic producer two thumbs up. It is simple to use, yet offers more advanced options for those who want to take their sampling to the next level. The support and training is adequate, and their sound library is huge. If you’re on the fence about purchasing Sonic Producer, I’d recommend giving it a try, I bet you will really like it. And like I said earlier, it does have a money-back guarantee, so if you end up not using it, just return it and get your cash back in your pocket. You got nothing to lose!

Alright, hope my overview and review of Sonic Producer has been helpful and given you some much-needed insight into this product. I enjoyed messing around with it and am gonna have to keep working on my beat-making skills, it’s a lot of fun! If you have any questions, drop me a line!

Sonic Producer Beats

Wish I could take credit for these beats that were made with Sonic Producer, but I did not! These are some sample tracks that were made with Sonic Producer and come with your purchase. There are many more like these, just thought I’d throw a couple out so you can get an idea of what is possible with Sonic Producer.

More Specs on Sonic Producer for Those of You Who Love to Read

Why choose to buy Sonic Producer? Well, the thing is, if you would like to make beats on your PC or Mac, no matter whether you want to make dance beats, rap beats or hip-hop beas, you’re going to have to install some very expensive audio software onto your computer. If you’re funds are limited, then it is going to be really hard to recreate the sounds, beats and hooks that you’re used to hearing on the radio, and that have been buzzing around in your head!

In the past, you were just kinda outta luck. Unless you were willing to spend a big chunk of change on an expensive piece of software, the beats were just going to stay in your head! But now, Sonic Producer has made it possible for everyone, even those on a limited budget, to make great-sounding, catchy beats and lines. The best part is, this application costs a fraction of what you’d have to pay for a professional beat-making software.

Sonic Producer’s sound library comes stuffed full of sounds and samples from all kinds of instruments that are perfect for making professional-sounding samples.

Another nice thing about Sonic Producer, is that is really easy to navigate and use, so those new to beat-making will not have a problem getting their bearings. There are plenty of tutorial videos that walk you through all the steps.

What I personally appreciated the most about the program, was the huge number of beats and riffs that were available for my selection in the music library. I felt more like a professional sound mixer with all of these options at my fingertips!

For example, there are plenty of thumping bass lines and snare samples for those who want to to make club-thumping dance tunes. And if are into hip-hop beats, you can choose from a huge selection of catchy hooks, beats and other sounds that are perfect for hip-hop.

You won’t be dissapointed in the sound quality either; all the sounds sound great.

The last thing I really liked about Sonic Producer was how easy it was to export my finished track in mp3 form to my computer. This made it simple to burn a CD or upload anywhere I wanted to online.

If you’ve been shopping around for beat-making software, you probably came across a couple other products besides Sonic Producer. Maybe you came across Dub Turbo, a new beat-making software program. Dub Turbo is very similar to Sonic Producer, and is a great buy. There is one big drawback to Dub Turbo though, in my opinion. Dub Turbo is an actual program that is downloaded to your computer, whereas Sonic Producer is NOT a program that one downloads and installs on his or her computer. Sonic Producer is an ONLINE beat-maker.

Why do I see a beat-making program that is ran from your computer as a drawback? Well, I’m one of those people who is always on the go and is not near my computer for most of the day. So, it is a big advantage for me to be able to access Sonic Producer from anywhere in the world through the Internet.

For example, I was over at a friend’s house the other day, and the topic of beat-making came up. I explained to him how I had recently bought a beat-making program, Sonic Producer. Since Sonic Producer is online, I was able to quickly hop on his computer and log into my Sonic Producer account and we started messing around with making beats, he loved it! If I only had Sonic Producer on my computer, I wouldn’t be able to access it from anywhere, and wouldn’t have been able to show my friend how it worked from his place.

So, in my humble opinion, the fact that Sonic Producer is an online-only application is a big plus. But, to be fair, I can see how some might say that is a drawback as well. I guess we can call it a two-edged sword. If you lose access to the Internet or have a slow really slow connection, it could get annoying to only have access to the application online.

Oh, and remember that even though the application is online and you have to be connected to the Internet to make your beats, once they’re done you can instantly download them to your computer and have “hard copies” on file.

Well since you’ve actually read this far down on the page, you gotta be really interested in Sonic Producer, right? So head on over to SonicProducer.com and get your account started, you can be making beats in a few minutes! And don’t forget they have their 60-day refund policy, so you got nothing to lose! Stop reading and go make some killer beats; you’ll be addicted to Sonic Producer in no time, I guarantee it!
